Examinations

Examinations for BASIS and FACTS normally take place at an examination centre in Kenya, but if there are sufficient numbers, candidates can additionally be examined in Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia or Uganda. UK students studying by distance learning take the examination at various centres the UK.

The examinations are supervised by a team of BASIS examiners from the UK.

It is essential to book sufficiently early if you wish to participate. We recommend six weeks minimum. To reserve a place, call or email to Real IPM.

Examination fees

Fees are payable to sit the BASIS and FACTS examinations (in addition to course fees), whether or not a pass is achieved. Current examination fee levels are:

BASIS (vegetables) £595
BASIS (floriculture) £595
FACTS £395

Examination fees for all other courses are included in the course fee.
